Teaching
My teaching interests include courses in: international relations theory, humanitarianism/human rights, security studies, and political theory.
I have several years of experience teaching in the fields of political science and history at four universities: The George Washington University, American University, Southern New Hampshire University, and Francis Marion University. I hold a certificate from GWU in teaching writing, and am actively involved in workshops and training initiatives focused on online/distance learning.
It is my philosophy that great teachers make great researchers.
This coming semester I am teaching "Introduction to Political Science" and "Special Topics: Liberalism and Its Critics."
